A recipe from Silvia. The chocolate salami is a typical Italian dessert.
The almond is a typical Sicilian product, which is mainly used for the production of marzipan.
Almonds contain a lot of magnesium, iron and calcium. This is why almonds are not only very nutritious, but also very healthy.
The variety offered here is especially sweet and come from the region around Castelluzzo.
Ingredients:
- 250 g of dry biscuits
- 100 g of almonds from Castelluzzo, Sicily
- 75 g bitter cocoa
- 125 g cane sugar
- 2 eggs
- 125 g melted butter
- 1 glass of rum (if desired)
Finely chop the dry biscuits and Sicilian almonds in a blender. Stir in the cocoa, eggs, sugar and butter and form a sausage with the help of a piece of baking paper.
Put the resulting salami for 1 hour into freezer. Cut into slices and enjoy.
