For the second tasting here at Winearchy on Tuesday 19 November, we were lucky enough to host Cantine Florio, with Brand Ambassador Giuseppe Greco acting as speaker. We are talking about a true pillar of Italian wine culture, a fundamental part of the history of Marsala and the town from which the wine itself takes its name. The vicissitudes of the Florio family have also recently become even more famous thanks to the Best Seller I Leoni di Sicilia, which after its great literary success was also turned into a TV series. The protagonists of the tasting were therefore the Marsala Florio wines, accompanied and combined with artisan products from our food counter, in a perfect combination with the historical and cultural background.
