Ideal for light and medium-bodied white wines, which do not require oxygenation to open. The opening slightly narrower than the body of the glass favors the concentration of aromas towards the nose, enhancing the perception of aromas and limiting their dispersion

Perfect wine to drink immediately, but can evolve well if kept in the cellar

DESCRIPTION OF THE SOMMELIER
The Friulano "San Pietro" by I Clivi is a wine with a historical identity, like the vineyards from which the Friulano grapes derive that give rise to this superb wine, fresh and mineral, contrary to the most classic oenological canons, direct and progenitor of strong emotions. Making wine in Friuli Venezia Giulia goes backwards, specifically the Colli Orientali, a happy island that rises above the characteristic "flysch", that is the meeting between sandstone and marl of oceanic origin.
Old vines that enclose an exuberant past. Few yields per hectare, but first-class nectar and amazing enjoyment. The autochthonous “San Pietro” vineyard is about 70 years old and is conducted in accordance with the organic regulations. After pressing in whole bunches, without destemming, the must is decanted in a static way and the following morning the fermentation starts spontaneously, without adding yeasts, in steel. The aging is 6-8 months on the fine lees, which are kept in suspension in steel. Finally, the wine is bottled with a light filtration and sulphitation.
The Friulano "San Pietro" is intense straw yellow. The nose is exotic, floral, with sulphurous notes of talc and, at the same time, with fragrant references. On the palate it is a continuous dialogue between spicy itch, sour and fat and noble sprinkles of precious minerality. Classy tactility, a wine that strikes despite being delicate and standing on tiptoe. Strong sip with acute mouthfuls. Walk and get lost on a hill adorned with hazelnut groves laden with fruit, surrounded by beautiful flowers. Kidnaps!
