Fusilli di Farro (spelt pasta) Principato di Lucedio
Our spelt pasta preserve all the flavour and scent of this very ancient cereal, which is having a revival for its nutrition values such as vitamins, minerals and also selenium, an antioxidant precious for retarding skin ageing.
Spelt Fusilli with peppers and courgettes
Ingredients (serves 4): 280g Spelt Fusilli, 200g tomato sauce, 150g diced courgettes, 150g diced peppers (yellow, red and green), 4 flowers of courgette, 30g butter, 5g parsley, 4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil, 30g white flour, oil, salt and pepper.
Preparation: fry slightly the courgettes in the extra virgin olive oil, add salt and pepper. Same preparation for the peppers. In a pan put the tomato sauce, the butter, the peppers, the courgettes and the parsley, cook on a high heat for few minutes. Flour and salt the flowers of zucchini and fry them in hot oil. Cook the Spelt Fusilli in abundant water keeping them “al dente” drain and pour the pasta into the pas with the prepared condiment.
