The vineyards.
The vineyards of the company extend all around the farmstead on the San Luigi hills, one of the best areas for the Dolcetto of Dogliani production.
The vineyards date back to the end of the 40s and they produce almost 40-50 quintals each hectare (the Dolcetto policy is 90 quintals each hectare)
In 2002 we planted nearly 1,5 hectares of vineyard, half Barbera and half Nebbiolo, with different rootstocks according to the ground and using fields in which vineyards have always been cultivating.
We immediately adopted a whole biologic cultivating method for our vineyards using only verdigris and mine sulphur: we don't use any natural or chemical fertilizer.
We aren't fundamentalists, but we really like some principles pf the bio-dynamic and biological agriculture.
Our attention is focused on the fertility of the land which we develop through the green manure method.
