In 1986 three dairy buffalo farmers decided to embark on a new adventure: producing buffalo mozzarella.
The story begins with a milk “stove” and three young men with a lot of enthusiasm and ability to produce quality mozzarella. In 1993 the company Aziende Agricole Associate Caseificio Agnena S.r.l. was founded with the aim of expanding more and more in the buffalo mozzarella market.
The history of Caseificio Agnena is intertwined with that of Terra di Lavoro, the area in the Caserta region that has always been dedicated to agriculture and animal husbandry.
Quality has always been the guiding principle, which does not remain on paper, but takes concrete form in the careful selection of raw materials, in the attention paid to every moment of production, keeping up with the continuous technological evolution.
